Q: I am in the market for a barbecue grill and saw the "gas" option some have compared to natural gas liquid propane. What is the best?
A: Natural gas is increasingly rare as the offer decreases with no new reserves being discovered, and therefore the price is rising. I would avoid natural gas if possible.
I'm researching buying a gas barbecue grill.
Our house has a natural gas hookup in the back yard and I've learned that many grills comes with conversion kits for natural gas.
Is there a difference in the way the food will cook or taste?
I have a Member's mark grill, it is a regal04ang. This is a 3 burner 18000 btu (each) unit that runs on natural gas. It is a stainless steel unit in and out except the burners. The grill is very nice but compared to a COleman 8100 LP, it is super slow.
I am looking for some insight since I am trying to get a ballpark for how much it should cost to hook my natural gas grill up to the natural gas in my house. Any more info about how long this process takes an electrican would be great. Thanks!
